Supporting Virginia Beef

In 2024, the Virginia General Assembly voted to establish the Virginia Verified Meat label to support every segment of the beef supply chain in Virginia. Meat that carries the Virginia Verified Meat label has been verified to be bred, born, raised and processed in Virginia. The Virginia Verified Beef label is a subset of this program, and the Virginia Cattlemen’s Association has certified that beef carrying this label meets all the requirements. Consumers can be confident that they are purchasing quality Virginia beef and supporting local Virginia producers with every Virginia Verified Beef label.
